Tiparos Challenge, a yearly competition held at the National Food Institute, is a contemporary Thai cuisine competition which allows challengers to blast their cooking skills and ingredient knowledge and implement into dishes. With different topics every year, the 2024 challenge named “Dek Sen” featured local noodles in each region. The result showed that Dusit Thani College’s representatives - Mr. Thammanat Chalermsak and Mr. Sittha Bualoylert from Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management Program – took over the second runner-up award. The students were coached and mentored by Mr. Apisit Jitprasong and Ajarn Nutthawut Promchan while Mr. Teeradon Saen-gor and their fellows from Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management Program - Ms. Phattharaphon Phooltuayad and Ms. Chutimon Boonthongsri - supported their practices.
