Undertaking a degree in Professional Culinary Arts at Dusit Thani College helps to propel you towards a greener future through our tutorage and the college’s waste management policies. Furthermore, with my personal interest in sustainability, I hope to one day leave an impact on today’s society with my action.

Dusit Thani College was an only educational institution in Thailand being invited to join MENA Climate Week 2023 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia without any expenses since it is the first and only educational institution in Thailand specialised in tourism and hospitality businesses.
Dusit Thani College Pattaya Campus’s Sports and Recreation Club has recently organized an e-Sport (ROV) competition which did not only attract many students to apply for and team up into 7 teams (5-7 competitors per team), but also captivated DTC students of all years and staff. The organizers set up a giant screen for spectators to witness, cheer up, and support the competitors in real time which created a joyful atmosphere.
On the past 28th of September, 2023, the Department of Student Sports and Activities under Student Affairs Division, Dusit Thani College collaborated with The Student Council of Dusit Thani College to organize “Wai Kru Ceremony 2023” at Srinakarin Hall. This is to let the students express their courteousness and gratitudes towards the instructors who have taught them so far. The ceremony, honoredly participated by Rector Frouke Gerbens and other executive members, also preserves the good Thai traditions and cultures to last long endlessly.
Dr. Atthawet Prougestaporn, Vice Rector of Dusit Thani College, and Ms. Pichaya Noranitiphadungkarn, Director of Industry and International Relations Department, together with the college fellows has recently paid a visit to Panyaworakun School to sign “an academic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)” between Dusit Thani College and Panyaworakun School, led by Mrs. Ornuma Boontrai, School Director, and Ms. Pornpatsorn Pangkaew, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs, to collaborate in organizing education for high school students.
Dusit Thani College arranges a talk session under the topic “How to push food and hospitality businesses and satisfy different generations” in DTC MBA Open House event. Featuring Ms. Lynda Buranachon, General Manager of Je Ngor’s Kitchen, Kanchanapisek Branch,and Ms. Pimchin Pakpatchon, Executive Management of JW Group and Junichi Japanese Restaurant, as the guest speakers, this event was moderated by Dr. Wilasinee Yonwikai, Director of MBA Program at Dusit Thani College.
Annually, the Department of Student Sports and Activities under Student Affairs Division, Dusit Thani College, holds a “club fair” and this year’s “DTC Club Fair 2023” was arranged in front of the college’s Building 2 on the past September 19 – 20, 2023. Not only introducing each club to all DTC students, the event also opens an opportunity for club members to work together by selling goods and food in order to gain budget for further projects. Dusit Thani College sees that apart from academic skills which can be learned in classes, life skills and soft skills are important as well in working and living a life. Soft skills can be built through extracurricular activities such as club activities following the students’ interests, hence arranging this club fair.
H.E. Ms. Cecila Galaretta, Ambassador of Peru and her Third Secretary Jazmina Clemente visited Dusit Thani College to discover how Thailand’s first and largest hospitality school under Dusit International has become the epicenter of Thai Culinary and Hospitality education and to explore ways on how Dusit Thani College and Dusit International could support the Ambassador’s goals of raising awareness of Peruvian food and cuisine in Bangkok and across the region.
One of the missions which resonates the expertise of Dusit Thani College as Thailand’s leading higher education in hospitality businesses under Dusit International is academic services. The college has played an important role as a quality assessment and selection committee in scanning Thai restaurants throughout Thailand for their quality, from flavor, ingredients, to services and decoration, deserving a mark of Thai SELECT.
