“DTC students showcase their skills among diplomats” in Sawasdee France at the Embassy of France 

Dusit Thani College, a higher education institute specialized in hotel management, culinary arts, and hospitality under Dusit International, had recently participated in “Sawasdee France” at the Embassy of France in Thailand.

Dusit Thani College, the first higher education institute in Thailand devoting to giving knowledge and specialty in tourism and hospitality industry under Dusit International, was honored to have 9 students give English speeches in ‘Bang Bang Session’ this year, which has been the third year of the college. The students are the representatives of each bachelor program in the college e.g. Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management Program, Hotel Management Program, Tourism Service Innovation Program, Professional Culinary Arts Program (International Program), and Hospitality Management Program (International Program). They expressed their inspirations how they stepped into this industry.

Dusit Thani College, a leading private institute of higher education in hospitality business under Dusit International, held an opening ceremony of Thanpuying Chanut Piyaoui’s statue, the founder of Dusit Thani College, with an honor to have H.E. Mr. Palakorn Suwanrath (6th from the left), Privy Councillor, as the president of this ceremony. He was accompanied by Dusit Thani College Council Committee and Directors to express gratitude towards all her accomplishments since the inception of Dusit Thani College 30 years ago at the Central Hall of Building 2, Dusit Thani College. The participants included Mr. Arsa Sarasin, Chairman of Dusit Thani Public Limited Company, Khunying Kasama Varavarn Na Ayudhya, Chairperson of College Council, Mr. Chanin Donavanik, Vice Chairperson of College Council, Ms. Suphajee Suthumpun, Honored College Council Committee, Mrs. Vipada Donavanik, Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs and Group Purchasing of Dusit Thani Public Limited Company, Dr. Porntep Techapaibul, Honored College Council Committee, Prof. Dr. Chanathip Pharino, Honored College Council Committee, Prof. Dr. Warawut Krusong, Honored College Council Committee, Ms. Frouke Gerbens, College Council Committee and Rector of Dusit Thani College, Dr. Pisarn Soydhurum, Honored College Council Committee, and Dr. Atthawet Prougestaporn, College Council Committee and Vice Rector of Academic Affairs.

DTC Young Ambassadors (DTCYA) are the representatives of Dusit Thani College, a higher educational institute in hotel management, culinary arts, and hospitality under Dusit International, to participate in activities as well as welcome guests to a college tour, so their personalities play an important part in building first impression among people. Therefore, Public Relations Department of Dusit Thani College, the initiative of DTC Young Ambassador Project, held a workshop under the topic “Create Image & Upgrade Personality” exclusively for the selected DTCYA students.

DTC fund students share dreams, share love, share for other people

DTC Fund Club of Dusit Thani College, Thailand’s leading private institute of higher education in hospitality business under Dusit International, launched an activity under the project “Doing good for Humanity” of Foundation for Rehabilitation and Development of Children and Family (FORDEC) and received a warm welcome and facilitation from Khun Julie Sumalee, Executive Director of the foundation, at Wat Maha Wong community daycare center for pre-school children, Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan.

Foundation for Rehabilitation and Development of Children and Family (FORDEC) is a non-profit organization which rescues underprivileged children, family, and those in needs without racial and religious barriers. The foundation holds on to the principle of doing good deeds, being honest to donors, providing services with sincerity, and managing work with high quality. This foundation adopts educationally underprivileged children from kindergarten to grade 2 before sending to nearby schools for fundamental education.

DTC international program students from Professional Culinary Arts program (jointed with Le Cordon Bleu Institute) and Hospitality Management program (certified by Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne) had an opportunity to make a good merit to the society by utilizing the knowledge of culinary arts and hospitality for activity design which benefited underprivileged children in a foundation in Nakhon Pathom.

International program students of Dusit Thani College show culinary skills in Tops Tong Tin event  

From March 29 to April 4, 2023, students of Professional Culinary Arts (jointed program with Le Cordon Bleu Institute) international program at Dusit Thani College have an opportunity to show cooking skills for international cuisines in “This Songkran… will never be the same” event, held by Tops Tong Tin Project, in front of Tops Food Hall on the 7th floor of CentralwOrld. The menus which Dusit Thani College students prepare on each day will be different. They will demonstrate how to cook and serve their dishes free of charge. The menus include okonomiyaki with tuna floss, spicy rice vermicelli salad, fried almond noodle with chili paste and shrimp, Assam tea pudding parfait, Southern-style shrimp paste fried rice with crispy deep-fried Spanish mackerels, trio crisp salad with mala sauce, and Northeastern-style maki roll.
