In 2023, Dusit Thani College, Thailand’s leading educational institution specializing in hospitality businesses under Dusit International, successfully organized the DTC Young Chef Challenge 2023, receiving an overwhelming response from twelve partner schools. More than one hundred students participated in the culinary and beverage competitions held at the college. The event also garnered strong support from sponsors dedicated to empowering and developing the skills of the nation’s youth.

Dusit Thani College proudly participated in THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2025, one of Asia’s largest international food and beverage trade fairs held at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
The college’s culinary team achieved an outstanding record of 61 awards in the Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge, including 2 Champion Trophies and 8 Gold Medals.
This success reflects the institution’s commitment to excellence in culinary education and its role in nurturing future professionals for the global hospitality industry.

THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2025, held from May 27–31 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, featured the prestigious Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge.
Dusit Thani College made a record-breaking impact with 61 awards, showcasing excellence in culinary arts on an international stage.
Among the standout winners was Ms. Pattaraporn Phoolthuayat, who earned two Champion Trophies and a gold medal with the highest score in the Junior Chef category.

On April 26, 2025, A group of students and instructors from Dusit Thani College participated in an inspiring and educational field trip at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, to explore the integration of sustainability in the hospitality industry. The event was designed to provide real-world insights and hands-on experience in applying sustainable practices within the sector.

On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, Dusit Thani College conducted an internal quality assessment at the institutional level for the academic year 2022. Dr. Atthawet Prougestaporn, Acting Rector of Dusit Thani College, welcomed the Quality Assessment Committee, which included Associate Professor Dr. Wittaya Mekkham,

Dusit Thani College has unveiled an ambitious skills development initiative called the Dusit Hospitality Academy (DHA) at its Bangkok and Pattaya campuses aimed at raising the bar for excellence in the service industry. 

“As the oldest and largest (hotel) school in Thailand, we have produced over 10,000 hospitality and culinary graduates who have gone on to work in hotels in Thailand and all around the world. Being owned by Dusit Thani hotels, we are uniquely influenced by the needs of the industry. That means from a top-down approach, our curriculum is often dictated by industry requirements,” shared John Lohr, executive director, external affairs, Dusit Thani College.

Ms. Pichaya Noranitiphadungkarn, Director of Industry and International Relations, and Assistant Professor Dr. Watit Intuluck participated in an event Alliance Board of Directors 2023 in Lyon, France. 

Recently, Dusit Thani College, a specialized educational institute in hotel management, tourism, and culinary arts under Dusit International, had participated in “France Alumni Thailand Day”, an event organized by Campus France Thailand team, the Embassy of France in Thailand.
