On 13 September 2026, Dr. Jitpisut Hongkajorn, Lecturer and Manager of Student Sports and Activities, Student Affairs, Dusit Thani College, led the Dusit Thani College Student Council in interviewing students who had applied to become “Student Council Trainees.” The initiative provides students interested in extracurricular activities and personal development with an opportunity to become part of the team, gain valuable experience, and contribute to advancing student activities across the College.
The interviews aimed to gain a deeper understanding of each applicant’s attitude, interests, strengths, sense of responsibility, and readiness to collaborate with others. They also provided a platform for students to demonstrate their potential and apply their individual talents to creating meaningful activities that benefit both the student community and the College.
Selected trainees will gain hands-on experience under the guidance and supervision of the Student Council. Their learning journey will cover the entire activity-management process, from generating and developing ideas to project planning, coordination, public relations, activity implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Throughout the process, Student Council members will provide guidance, share practical experience, and encourage learning through active participation.
Becoming a Student Council Trainee is more than simply assisting with activities. It is a valuable opportunity to develop essential life and professional skills, including leadership, teamwork, communication, creativity, time management, problem-solving, adaptability, and social responsibility.
This initiative reflects the Student Council’s commitment to promoting experiential learning and preparing a new generation of students to become a driving force behind student development. Together, they will help advance Dusit Thani College’s student activities with quality, creativity, and a genuine understanding of students’ needs.
