Students of Dusit Thani College, Thailand’s leading higher educational institution specialized in hospitality businesses under Dusit International, are not only recognized by their practical skills but also their competitive academic proficiencies.

This is guaranteed by all academic awards given to Dusit Thani College students so far. Lately, Ms. Nithikarn Paothuey, third-year student of Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management Program, Dusit Thani College, has received “Outstanding Student: Academics in Social Science” award of year 2023 from Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Thailand under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Mahachakri Sirindhorn. The association selected Ms. Nithikarn from her prominent activities which included the participations in Seoul Food & Hotel Culinary Challenge 2023 in South Korea and 2023 TCAC Taiwan Culinary Arts Challenge in Taiwan. She succeeded in winning awards from those international competitions which apparently showed her competitiveness and accuracy in culinary skills practically and academically. In this award-giving ceremony, Dr. Atthawet Prueksathaporn, Acting Rector of Dusit Thani College, together with the executive committee expressed their congratulation on her as well.

The award-giving ceremony held by The Development and Innovation Board, Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Thailand under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Mahachakri Sirindhorn, is an annual program selecting outstanding students to build their morale and encouragement with rewards in return of their dedication, excellency, and good exemplars. The receivers are students from member institutions who stand out and create good reputations for Thailand’s private higher education.
