Dusit Thani College Receives MRA on TP Training and Assessment Center Certification 2026 

On 16 September 2026, Dusit Thani College participated in the 2026 Certificate Presentation Ceremony for activities under the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professionals (MRA on TP), held at the Auditorium, 2nd Floor, Centara Life Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok. 

On behalf of Dr. Atthawet Prougestaporn, Rector of Dusit Thani College, Assistant Professor Dr. Wacharakorn Mayuree, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, and Dr. Chanika Sriwannawit, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management, represented the College at the ceremony and received the certificate recognising Dusit Thani College as an accredited Training Center and Assessment Center under the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professionals (MRA on TP). The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Jaturon Phakdeewanit, Director-General of the Department of Tourism, who presented the certificate to Dusit Thani College, together with other organisations and professionals involved in strengthening tourism professional standards. 

Certificates were also presented to National Assessors (NA) and individuals who had successfully completed occupational competency assessments as ASEAN Tourism Professionals (ATP) under the MRA on TP framework. The recipients included faculty members, alumni, and students of Dusit Thani College, as well as professionals working in the tourism and hospitality sector who undertook competency assessments at the Dusit Thani College Assessment Center and other assessment centres under the supervision of the Department of Tourism. 

The event was organised under the concept “From Skills to ASEAN Recognition” – “One Standard: Many Professionals”, with the aim of promoting competency development, raising professional standards, and enhancing the recognition of tourism professionals under a common ASEAN framework. The event also highlighted the important role of accredited training and assessment centres in strengthening Thailand’s tourism professional development network. 

This certification reflects Dusit Thani College’s readiness and continuing role in developing tourism and hospitality professionals through training and competency assessment aligned with ASEAN standards. It also supports students, alumni, faculty members, and industry professionals in strengthening their knowledge, skills, and professional competencies, thereby enhancing their professional capabilities and opportunities for recognition across the ASEAN region.
