Dusit Thani College’s Students Participate in CIS-EARCOS Institute 2026 Student Panel Session, Sharing Insights on the Transition to University Life

On 18-19 September 2026, Dusit Thani College was invited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) to participate in the CIS-EARCOS Institute on International Admission & Guidance 2026, held at the Shangri-La Bangkok. 

The event serves as an important platform that brings together international school guidance counsellors and university admissions professionals from around the world to exchange information, trends, and best practices related to higher education pathways. As part of the programme, two students from the College’s BBA Hospitality Management (International Program) were invited to represent Dusit Thani College at the CIS-EARCOS Institute 2026 Student Panel Session, where they shared their experiences alongside students from other institutions. 

The student representatives were: 

• Miss Tara Fay Kursakul, 3rd Year Student 

• Mr. Luca Noah Czypowski, 1st Year Student 

The panel session was designed to provide international school guidance counsellors and higher education admissions professionals with first-hand insights into students’ experiences throughout the university search process, admissions journey, and transition from secondary school to higher education. 

Throughout the discussion, Dusit Thani College students shared their perspectives on university life, academic and social adjustment, and studying in an international programme with confidence and professionalism, making a positive impression on participants from a wide range of educational institutions. 

Reflecting on her decision to pursue higher education in Thailand, Miss Tara Fay Kursakul commented: 

“One of the key considerations for students is the difference in educational systems and admission requirements across countries, as each destination has its own qualifications and testing requirements. I also considered studying in Australia, which gave me a clearer understanding of these differences and the challenges that can arise during the application process. Some of my friends have also faced difficulties related to nationality and visa requirements, which can affect their educational opportunities. I have been fortunate to hold dual citizenship, which made the process of researching and applying to universities much easier. Overall, these are important factors that students should research carefully and plan for in advance.” 

Meanwhile, Mr. Luca Noah Czypowski shared: 

“The education system in my home country is very different from that in Thailand, so moving here meant stepping into a completely new environment. At the same time, I was adjusting from secondary school to university life, which brought many changes and greater responsibilities. For me, choosing Dusit Thani College was the right decision because I aspire to become a professional in the hospitality industry, a field that requires both practical experience and academic knowledge. Thailand was also an important factor in my decision, as it is recognized as one of the world’s leading destinations for hospitality and service excellence.” 

Participation in this event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the capabilities and achievements of Dusit Thani College students while strengthening the College’s visibility and connections with international school counsellors and higher education representatives from around the world. Such engagement will continue to support the College’s international outreach efforts and further enhance its reputation on the global stage.
