Baanlaesuan Magazine under Amarin Corporations Public Company Limited has lately held a fair showcasing wide ranges of home and garden products “Baanlaesuan Fair Midyear 2024” at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Bangkok’s Bangna District. Moreover, there were fun activities by an Amarin’s subsidiary Amarin TV for those who joined this event to participate for free.
Inside Amarin TV’s booth, various popular TV programmes of the channel were brought to film and host entertaining activities such as “Long Pung” and “Chang Prajum Baan”. During the session by “Long Pung”, Dusit Thani College, Thailand’s leading educational institution in hospitality business under Dusit International, was honoredly invited to compete in a Cooking Challenge. The competitors – students from Dusit Thani College’s Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management Program – were divided into 2 teams which were Team Song Glur and Team Sao Nah Mon Kon Krua. They received the challenge to adapt minced pork filling from an all-time favorite menu Steamed Bun of the legendary Leng Hong Restaurant into new dishes. The winner was Team Song Glur which created Fried Noodle in Gravy Sauce served with fried wonton with minced pork filling and fried seaweed roll stuffed with minced pork as of its savory taste, ease to cook, and creativity. The winner received buffet vouchers from Hia Song, Owner of Leng Hong Restaurant.
For the session by “Chang Prajum Baan”, Carp. Go – Nattanan demonstrated how to make a DIY shelf for household use. Followingly, the show invited Ajarn Krissana Srithongna and Ajarn Jutarat Piriyabenjawat together with students from Dusit Thani College’s Hotel Management Program to hold a towel folding workshop, which gained a great amount of interest from participants. The instructors and helpers taught attendees to fold towels into animal shapes before putting them on the previous shelf as decorations and giving as complimentary gifts for joining the workshop.
