In 2025, the diplomatic relations between Thailand and the Republic of Peru meet the 60th anniversary. In order to celebrate this occasion, the Embassy of Peru in Thailand has partnered with Dusit Thani College, Thailand’s leading hospitality education subsidiary to Dusit International, to co-organize a culinary and mixology competition with the theme “Flavors of the Peru – Thailand Fusion Challenge” on 9 April 2025 at Dusit Thani College, Bangkok.
In the midst of the multiculturalism of today’s world society, diversity in cultures, languages, religions, ethnicities, or lifestyle makes each country become distinctive through different favors, thoughts, and attitudes. There is a tool that can be used to connect each different preference together: “food”. Therefore, exchanging food culture among one another has become an important strategy for bonding international relations.
