Dusit Thani College learns about green energy from the neighboring Seacon Square  

Dusit Thani College, led by Associate Rector for College Operations Ajarn Korakot Montrisuksirikul, has recently brought the college’s working team on energy management to visit the solar rooftop at Seacon Square Srinakarin, the college’s neighboring shopping center. Seacon Square Srinakarin is one of the private sectors which emphasizes the importance of energy and environment. The company has invested in installing solar panels all over the rooftop of the shopping center which do not only save a huge amount of annual electrical costs, but also save the nation’s energy.

Therefore, Dusit Thani College interestedly paid a visit to Seacon Square to learn about energy management and extract knowledge and information as well as working processes in order to implement inside the college. On this occasion, Dr. Prote Sosothikul, Vice President of Operation Group for Seacon Development PLC, respectfully welcomed and gave a lecture to the working team by himself. The participants of this visit included the Rector of Dusit Thani College Ms. Frouke Gerbens and Dean of International Programs Ajarn Simon David Lloyd. 

Dusit Thani College is determined to developing both pedagogical and other aspects of the college. Those include energy management and environment which are the key objectives that the college aims to succeed under the keyword Sustainability in the college’s mission and vision.
