Therefore, the Hospitality Talent Fair has been held for 4 years specifically to provide career opportunities in the tourism and hospitality industry.
This year, the Hospitality Talent Fair 2025 was held on 27-28 March 2025 at Srinakarin Hall, Dusit Thani College. There were nearly 40 booths of various hospitality organizations opening to recruit candidates, ranging from hotels, restaurants, spas to related businesses both in Thailand and overseas. This reflected the growth of the Thai tourism industry, which is still the country’s top source of income, and the reason for consistently high demands in quality professionals.
“Dusit Thani College has been established for 31 years this year with the aim of nurturing people into the tourism and hospitality industry,” stated Rector of Dusit Thani College Dr. Atthawet Prougestaporn the vision for the Hospitality Talent Fair 2025. “Eighteen years ago, Dusit Thani College initiated a Career Day to provide opportunities for our partner establishments to recruit students from the event. It was until 4 years ago when we developed it into Hospitality Talent Fair, connecting organizations and institutions to exchange knowledge about seeking the right workers for the right jobs. Also, we extend job opportunities to those who look for new pathways in the hospitality industry, not only for our students. We firmly believe that human resources remain an important asset of this industry because the tourism and hospitality industry is about meeting people directly, and no technology can replace this.”
The hiring companies which attended Hospitality Talent Fair this year included Amari Bangkok, Asiatique Restaurant, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, BAANLANYAI Co., Ltd., Capella Hotel, Chatrium Hotels and Residences, Chaixi Corporation Co., Ltd., Chef’s Club by Makro, Coffee World and PT, COMO Metropolitan Bangkok, Conrad Bangkok, Cross Vibe Bangkok Sukhumvit, CHIVA-SOM INTERNATIONAL HEALTH RESORTS, Dusit Thani Public Co., Ltd., dusitD2 Samyan, Bangkok, Empire Tower Restaurant, Foodhouse, Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium, Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit, IHG Hotels and Resorts, Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Golf Resort and Spa, Montara Hospitality Group, Ob_Oon Catering, Oriental Residence, Park Hyatt Bangkok, Rosewood Bangkok, The Okura Prestige Bangkok, The Peninsula Bangkok, The Standard Hua Hin, The Thai Silk Company, Topgolf Megacity, and Shama Yen-Akat Bangkok. There were also agencies that sent students abroad for internships and exchange programs such as American Learning, IEO Study Abroad, IEE Thailand, iHappy Inter Education, Interchange TH, Placement International, and Worldwide Internships.
Dusit Thani College hopes that arranging Hospitality Talent Fair every year is not only able to screen quality personnel for the hospitality industry but also play an important role in driving the industry toward a sustainable future.
