Students and faculty members of Dusit Thani College, a leading institution under Dusit International, have once again achieved international recognition at the Asian Pastry Young Chefs Challenge (APYC) 2026, a prestigious Asian-level pastry and culinary competition for young chefs. The event was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China, from 10-12 September 2026.
Competition Results
Mr. Thanakon Chuangrattanawan was awarded the Champion Hot Cooking title for achieving the highest overall score in the hot kitchen category. He also earned:
- Gold Medal in Class 8: Main Course Meat/Poultry
- Gold Medal in Class 9: Main Course Fish/Seafood
- Silver Medal in Class 10: Main Course Modern Asian Cuisine
Ms. Butsakorn Jeamsakul won:
- Silver Medal in Class 8: Main Course Meat/Poultry
- Silver Medal in Class 9: Main Course Fish/Seafood
Ms. Nuttanicha Tiyaparunchai received:
- Silver Medal in Class 9: Main Course Fish/Seafood
- Gold Medal in Class 10: Main Course Modern Asian Cuisine
Mr. Apicha Kuabut earned:
- Silver Medal in Class 9: Main Course Fish/Seafood
Meanwhile, Ajarn Napat Sriwarom, together with 2 students, Ms. Tidarus Puengroop and Ms. Punnapa Damrongratnuvong, teamed up to secure a Silver Medal, along with the Best Organization Award and Best Teamwork Award, in the Asian Pastry Young Chef Challenge Team competition.
In addition, Mr. Thanachot Kameesak won a Bronze Medal in The Ultimate Dessert Challenge.
