Dusit Thani College Hosts Hospitality Talent Fair 2026, Connecting Quality Talent with the Service Industry Alongside Dusit Thani Fair “Market in The Garden”

30 March 2026

Dusit Thani College, a hospitality education institution under Dusit Thani Hotels, reaffirmed its role as a leader in human capital development by organizing the Hospitality Talent Fair 2026 on March 26–27, 2026 at Srinakarin Hall, Dusit Thani College, Bangkok. The event served as a central platform linking job seekers directly with employers in the tourism and hospitality industry.

This year, nearly 50 leading establishments from Thailand and abroad participated, covering hotels, restaurants, spas, and other service businesses, offering more than 500 job positions. The fair was open to all interested candidates free of charge and featured additional activities such as résumé writing workshops, interview techniques, personal branding sessions, and professional talks to enhance readiness for the real job market.

The opening ceremony on March 26, 2026 was attended by representatives from partner hotels with academic agreements with Dusit Thani College, including:

  • Jittapong Tiprat, Corporate Director – Learning & Development, Dusit International

We recognize that professional readiness can only be complete with support from the actual industry. This fair is a bridge between academia and the service sector, nurturing high-quality talent and shaping the future of tourism both domestically and internationally. This aligns with the vision of Dusit Thani College’s founder, Thanpuying Chanat Piyaoui, who aspired to build a bridge between education and industry.”

The fair featured booths from numerous hotels and service businesses, including Dusit International, Andaz One Bangkok, Anantara Siam Bangkok, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, Banyan Tree Bangkok, Capella Bangkok, Chiva-Som International Health Resorts, Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, Hilton, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Mövenpick Siam Hotel Na Jomtien Pattaya, Park Hyatt Bangkok, Rosewood Bangkok, Shangri-La Bangkok, SO/ Bangkok, Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, The Landmark Bangkok, The Okura Prestige Bangkok, Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit, Hyatt Regency Hua Hin and THE BARAI, among many others. Service providers in internships and overseas study programs also joined, such as American Learning (ALC), IEE Thailand, OEG, and Worldwide Internships.

On stage, guest speakers and experts shared insights on job applications, personality development, and personal branding, including executives from Dusit International, JobsDB by SEEK, Marriott International Thailand, Conrad Bangkok, Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin, and alumni entrepreneurs.

At the same time, Dusit Thani College, in collaboration with its Alumni Association, hosted the Dusit Thani Fair 2026 under the theme “Market in The Garden”, showcasing curated products, food, and beverages from alumni businesses in a relaxing atmosphere with live music, supporting alumni while delighting attendees.

Tourism and hospitality remain key drivers of Thailand’s economy despite global challenges, with demand for highly skilled professionals continuing to rise—especially in hotels, restaurants, and service businesses seeking young talent with language, technology, and customer experience skills. Dusit Thani College is proud to announce that its students have once again placed among the top three at the ALLiance Sustainability in Hospitality Contest, organized by The Alliance Network in partnership with Relais & Châteaux — marking the second consecutive year the College has reached the podium in this international competition. In the 2026 edition, Ms. Purimprat Pradit, Ms. Isabella Marissa Stacy, and Mr. Pokin Puntu, first-year students from the International Hospitality Management and Professional Culinary Arts International programs — secured 2nd Runner-Up with Nai Mõng – Real Taste from the Countryside, a premium family dining concept rooted in the culinary traditions of Phatthalung, Southern Thailand. The project reimagines authentic Southern Thai cuisine through sustainably sourced, seasonal ingredients and a modern interpretation of local culinary heritage, inviting guests to experience sustainability not as a compromise but as part of an immersive, memorable dining journey. As 2nd Runner-Up, competing in their very first international competition, the team received a €200 voucher courtesy of Relais & Châteaux, an official certificate of achievement, and the opportunity to present their concept to the Relais & Châteaux CSR team. This year's result builds on a strong showing in 2025, when Dusit Thani College swept both 1st place (SHINRAI, a zero-waste culinary concept blending Japanese technique with Thai ingredients) and 2nd place (Re-leaf, a regenerative eco-wellness farm stay concept) in the contest's inaugural edition, triumphing over competitors from all 22 member countries of The Alliance Network at the time. The ALLiance Sustainability in Hospitality Contest challenges Hospitality and Culinary Arts students from Alliance member institutions — spanning more than 20 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa — to design innovative concepts that turn sustainability into an engaging, rewarding guest experience across its environmental, social, and economic dimensions, judged by a panel of industry professionals and sustainability experts. Two years running, students from Dusit Thani College's international program have proven that Thai culinary talent and sustainable thinking can consistently stand out on a global stage.
