Dusit Thani College student wins Silver Medal for Thailand at WorldSkills Asia Taipei 2025

From November 25 – December 1, 2025, the 3rd Asian Skills Competition (WorldSkills Asia Taipei 2025) was held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX), Nangang District, Taipei, Taiwan. 

Mr. Nakarin Jaroonpunwanich, a student in the Culinary Arts program at Dusit Thani College, Thailand’s leading educational institution in hospitality and service business under Dusit Thani Hotels, represented Thailand in the Cooking category. He brought joy and pride to the nation by winning the Silver Medal. 

This competition featured 11 contestants from 11 countries: Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines, Brunei, India, Palestine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Australia. 

Dusit Thani College extends its gratitude to Chef Jatuporn Juengmeesuk, trainer from the Department of Skill Development, for his dedicated support and guidance throughout the long training period, as well as to the student culinary competition team who assisted during the preparation process. 

The College also thanks Dusit Thani College itself for providing kitchen laboratories and other resources for training. Appreciation is expressed for the perseverance and commitment of the student, and congratulations are offered for this achievement.
