


During 19–22 October 2025, Dusit Thani College representatives, Ms. Pichaya Noranitiphadungkarn, Director of International Relations and Accreditations, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Myla Medrano Loreto of the Language Center participated in the THE-ICE International Panel of Experts (IPOE) Forum 2025 held at Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai.
The annual forum, held from October 19 to 22, brought together global experts, researchers, educators, and industry professionals to exchange insights and discuss innovative and sustainable practices in tourism, hospitality, events, and culinary arts education. With the theme “Adapting to Global Shifts: Innovating Tourism and Hospitality Education for a Sustainable Future,” the event focused on how academic institutions can respond to emerging trends and challenges shaping the industry.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Loreto co-presented a research paper titled “Transforming Tourism and Hospitality Education through Challenge-Based Learning,” a collaborative study conducted with the William Angliss Institute -Melbourne and Lyceum of the Philippines University. The project was among the recipients of the THE-ICE Research Grant 2025, recognizing innovative academic initiatives that contribute to educational advancement in the field.
Participation in this year’s IPOE Forum reflects Dusit Thani College’s commitment to internationalization, strengthening academic and industry linkages, and contributing to the ongoing dialogue on shaping the future of tourism, hospitality, events, and culinary arts education.
