Dusit Thani College, DTC Alumni Association, and Dusit Princess Srinakarin Hotel Host Charity Dinner Featuring 12 Renowned Alumni Chefs

07 October 2025

A heartwarming and fulfilling evening unfolded at the charity dinner JOURNEY OF FLAVOR: A TWIST FOR THE BETTER TOGETHER, jointly organized by Dusit Thani College, the Dusit Thani College Alumni Association, and Dusit Princess Srinakarin Hotel. Held on the night of October 3, 2025, at Square One restaurant, Dusit Princess Srinakarin, the event brought together culinary excellence and goodwill.

This exclusive dinner marked Thailand’s first gathering of 12 celebrity chefs—all alumni of Dusit Thani College—who collaborated to craft a menu of savory and sweet dishes in a Modern Thai Twist style. The chefs included: Chef Are – Teerapat Teeyasoontranon, Chef Tong – Yuthajak Saengsarttra, Chef Park – Pattarawit Junthai, Chef Fai – Sirorat Thowtho, Chef Kik – Kamol Chobdee-ngam, Chef Bus – Tawatchai Akarawongwattana, Chef Toey – Patcharakhun Kalyanamitr, Chef Phu – Phoorin Pattanawiriyawanich, Chef Poon – Bhupar Choonharas, Chef Boy – Piyachart Puttawong, Chef Annie – Angkana Iamsaard, and Chef M – Siripong Chutitadakul. Their creations took guests on a culinary journey through Thailand’s five regions, each dish reflecting the unique essence of its origin.

“This is the first time the Alumni Association has brought together our renowned alumni chefs to create such a special menu,” said Ms. Rapeepan Yuenyong, Managing Director of Rapeepan Logistics Co., Ltd. and current President of the Dusit Thani College Alumni Association. “Each dish reinterprets Thai cuisine from the five regions, showcasing their distinct cultural value through a modern lens. While the flavors remain rooted in tradition, the presentation and concept offer a fresh perspective. Beyond fundraising, this event fosters collaboration between alumni and current students, enriching their skills, knowledge, and experience for future careers and life.”

Dr. Atthawet Prougestaporn, Rector of Dusit Thani College, added that Thanpuying Chanat Piyaoui, founder of Dusit Thani Hotel and Dusit Thani College, envisioned the college and Dusit Princess Srinakarin Hotel—located side by side—as a platform for students to gain hands-on experience in hospitality. This collaboration with the Alumni Association and the hotel perfectly fulfills that founding vision.

Proceeds from ticket sales and the auction of personal items donated by the chefs will be directed toward educational scholarships for Dusit Thani College students and charitable organizations.

The organizing committee extends heartfelt thanks to event sponsors: Chef’s Club by Makro, Thai Sturgeon Farm Co., Ltd., JAGOTA, RYNN Premium Mineral, Thita Farm Co., Ltd., Rom Mai Rim Na Restaurant (Phutthamonthon Sai 5), Nor Nuea Restaurant, Siam Bee Secret, and Sod Chaeng.

Dusit Thani College is proud to announce that its students have once again placed among the top three at the ALLiance Sustainability in Hospitality Contest, organized by The Alliance Network in partnership with Relais & Châteaux — marking the second consecutive year the College has reached the podium in this international competition. In the 2026 edition, Ms. Purimprat Pradit, Ms. Isabella Marissa Stacy, and Mr. Pokin Puntu, first-year students from the International Hospitality Management and Professional Culinary Arts International programs — secured 2nd Runner-Up with Nai Mõng – Real Taste from the Countryside, a premium family dining concept rooted in the culinary traditions of Phatthalung, Southern Thailand. The project reimagines authentic Southern Thai cuisine through sustainably sourced, seasonal ingredients and a modern interpretation of local culinary heritage, inviting guests to experience sustainability not as a compromise but as part of an immersive, memorable dining journey. As 2nd Runner-Up, competing in their very first international competition, the team received a €200 voucher courtesy of Relais & Châteaux, an official certificate of achievement, and the opportunity to present their concept to the Relais & Châteaux CSR team. This year's result builds on a strong showing in 2025, when Dusit Thani College swept both 1st place (SHINRAI, a zero-waste culinary concept blending Japanese technique with Thai ingredients) and 2nd place (Re-leaf, a regenerative eco-wellness farm stay concept) in the contest's inaugural edition, triumphing over competitors from all 22 member countries of The Alliance Network at the time. The ALLiance Sustainability in Hospitality Contest challenges Hospitality and Culinary Arts students from Alliance member institutions — spanning more than 20 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa — to design innovative concepts that turn sustainability into an engaging, rewarding guest experience across its environmental, social, and economic dimensions, judged by a panel of industry professionals and sustainability experts. Two years running, students from Dusit Thani College's international program have proven that Thai culinary talent and sustainable thinking can consistently stand out on a global stage.
