As an educational institution specialized in hospitality business under Dusit International with high quality and reputation all over Thailand and Asia, Dusit Thani College has recently been invited to speak on the stage of “Sustainable Tourism Development: Perspective in Education Administration” conference, held by Graduate College of Management, Sripatum University, together with Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya, Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives, and tourism experts.
Conducted at the host venue, the conference aimed to open opportunities for tourism experts from different organizations and agencies to share their ideas, aspects, and suggestions in order to improve tourism in Thailand and other countries sustainably. For this reason, the host invited H.E. Mr. Lindsay Kiptiness, Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Mohamed Jinah, Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to Thailand, to participate in the conference as both of their home countries are considered the destinations of tourists all over the world in terms of safari adventure and diving paradise. The sharing session was also joined by Ajarn Soinapa Pankong, the historical tourism expert and World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations area representative and trainer, as well as a representative from the education sector Simon David Lloyd, Dean for International Programs at Dusit Thani College, the first and only specialized educational institution in Thailand which provides deepened knowledge in tourism for higher education students. The event was moderated by Panwasa Smith, an international-level educational expert.
Not only being invited to join the conference, Dusit Thani College had a chance to showcase award-winning students together with their achievements in national and international culinary and flower arrangement competitions as well as fruit carving arts, gaining compliments from the ambassadors, representatives from other embassies, and participants.
