Dusit Thani College recently hosted the Bann Dusit Case Competition, a platform where international students from Hospitality Management and Professional Culinary Arts Bachelor’s degree programs were given the opportunity to showcase their theoretical knowledge and practical business acumen.
This competition allowed the students to apply classroom-learned concept development skills and translate them into viable, innovative business strategies, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world business environments.
Students’ entries were reviewed and evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges, comprising industry-leading professionals. The panel included Khun Siradej “Champ” Donavanik, VP of Hotel Business Development; Khun Stephane Carric, Corporate Director of Food & Beverage at Dusit International; Khun Pojchara “PJ” Srivicharnkul, Senior Manager of F&B Strategy & Transformation; and Khun Frouke Gerbens, Rector of Dusit Thani College.
This interaction provided students with an invaluable chance to receive feedback from seasoned professionals who are actively shaping the future of the hospitality industry. The competition demonstrated the successful alignment of theoretical knowledge with practical applications, reinforcing Dusit Thani College’s commitment to nurturing holistic learning experiences for international students.
The college is extremely proud of its students who rose to the challenge, exhibiting their potential to be future leaders in the industry. We are eager to witness their continued growth and contributions to the hospitality sector in the years to come.
