Department of International Trade Promotion, The Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Koelnmesse GmbH have recently held the grand global food and beverage exhibition THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2024 at IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani. Apart from a variety of eye-opening food and beverage displays, one of the highlights of this event is the competition Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge 2024. There were competitors from educational institutions as well as industry in Thailand and overseas joining this event such as South Korea, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, and others.
On this occasion, students of Dusit Thani College, Thailand’s leading higher education in hospitality businesses under Dusit International, joined culinary, bakery, and fruit and vegetable carving competition programs. Proudly speaking, the students were able to perform their best skills and received awards from every program, totaling 38 awards as shown below:
Bakery (Individual) – won 1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medals
Fruit and Vegetable Carving (Individual) – won 1 bronze medal
Cookery (Individual) – won 2 gold, 11 silver, 9 bronze medals, and 7 diplomas
Fruit and Vegetable Carving (Team of 3) – won 1 bronze medal, and 1 diploma
Asian Gourmet Challenge (Team of 3) – won 1 silver and 1 bronze medals
