The Master of Business Administration Program of Dusit Thani College, a prominent hospitality educational institution and a subsidiary of Dusit International, has recently collaborated with the Department of Small and Medium Entrepreneur and Community Organization Development, Government Savings Bank, in arranging a project “a knowledge exchange program among the Supply Chain network 2023” at Srinakarin Hall, Dusit Thani College Bangkok. The event opened an opportunity for more than 120 SME entrepreneurs around Thailand to join a sharing session as well as a workshop run by the experts to boost business administration skills while Dusit Thani College’s MBA students supported the event as facilitators.

On this occasion, the event was honorably opened by the speeches of Mr. Somchai Arpornpong, Executive Vice President of SME’s Business, Government Savings Bank, and Ms. Wilanee Sae-Tae, Director of Small and Medium Entrepreneur and Community Organization Development. The college, represented by the Dean of National Programs Dr. Tiwa Park, welcomed all guests with the contents as shown below:

“I am honored to welcome all of you to the Supply Chain networking activity today where knowledge and experience are exchanged among the directors of 2 host organizations, the lecturer team, instructors, students, and more than 120 food-and-beverage SME entrepreneurs who show their interests in this activity. I am also grateful that the activity this year catches your attention. This is the second time of our collaboration between The Master of Business Administration Program of Dusit Thani College, the educational institution specialized in hospitality industry, and the Department of Small and Medium Entrepreneur and Community Organization Development, Government Savings Bank, where entrepreneurs are given opportunities to upscale their businesses, collaborate to create knowledge, ideas, and possibilities to improve products and services. The activities today could add values to the businesses of all participants.”

In this event, there were insightful lectures in many topics such as “Total Customer Solution – the solution for food business management” by Mr. Piranut Kapklon, Business Innovation Development Director and Corporate Customer Relations – Food Business at Betagro Group, “From small-size restaurant management to food processing business” by Ms. Duang Nipitvarinthorn, Founder of Obaroi restaurant, “Opportunities to gain customers from business synergies” by Dr. Narathip Amtiengtrong, Executive Director of HABI32 Company Limited, and tricks to approach the source of investment funds by Sergeant Teerasak Tongtos, Executive Vice President Branch Operation 2, Government Savings Bank. Moreover, the participants were separated into groups to brainstorm and exchange knowledge and experience together under the supervision and facilitation of Dusit Thani College’s MBA program instructors and students.

This event is not only a knowledge exchange about how to add values in hospitality business management for entrepreneurs, agencies, and communities to utilize in their business sustainably, but also an opportunity for Dusit Thani College’s MBA program students to learn business administration skills together with the participants. They can harvest knowledge, ideas, and experience from the real entrepreneurs while practicing organizing an academic seminar. This exclusive event also provides skills and experience which cannot be found anywhere else and will benefit their businesses in the future.

Dusit Thani College is proud to announce that its students have once again placed among the top three at the ALLiance Sustainability in Hospitality Contest, organized by The Alliance Network in partnership with Relais & Châteaux — marking the second consecutive year the College has reached the podium in this international competition. In the 2026 edition, Ms. Purimprat Pradit, Ms. Isabella Marissa Stacy, and Mr. Pokin Puntu, first-year students from the International Hospitality Management and Professional Culinary Arts International programs — secured 2nd Runner-Up with Nai Mõng – Real Taste from the Countryside, a premium family dining concept rooted in the culinary traditions of Phatthalung, Southern Thailand. The project reimagines authentic Southern Thai cuisine through sustainably sourced, seasonal ingredients and a modern interpretation of local culinary heritage, inviting guests to experience sustainability not as a compromise but as part of an immersive, memorable dining journey. As 2nd Runner-Up, competing in their very first international competition, the team received a €200 voucher courtesy of Relais & Châteaux, an official certificate of achievement, and the opportunity to present their concept to the Relais & Châteaux CSR team. This year's result builds on a strong showing in 2025, when Dusit Thani College swept both 1st place (SHINRAI, a zero-waste culinary concept blending Japanese technique with Thai ingredients) and 2nd place (Re-leaf, a regenerative eco-wellness farm stay concept) in the contest's inaugural edition, triumphing over competitors from all 22 member countries of The Alliance Network at the time. The ALLiance Sustainability in Hospitality Contest challenges Hospitality and Culinary Arts students from Alliance member institutions — spanning more than 20 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa — to design innovative concepts that turn sustainability into an engaging, rewarding guest experience across its environmental, social, and economic dimensions, judged by a panel of industry professionals and sustainability experts. Two years running, students from Dusit Thani College's international program have proven that Thai culinary talent and sustainable thinking can consistently stand out on a global stage.
