DaVinci Gourmet Thailand has a vision to elevate the skills of mixologists in Thailand to the world-class level, so Flavour Genius Competition Season 2 was held to seek for the best mixologists aged over 20 for cocktail and mocktail creations using DaVinci Gourmet syrup and DVC Tea Concentrate. The event took place at Hilton Hotel Sukhumvit Bangkok.
Dusit Thani College sent Mr. Pannathorn Visvathon to the competition, the only student participant among the professional mixologists in the industry. The result of the event showed that the college student was ranked the sixth out of 18 competitors. This competition has brought him a challenge to himself toward other professionals and a stage for his skills to flourish in national level.
Dusit Thani College is determined to support students for joining out-of-school activities as it can improve analytical skills, disciplines, and systematic thinking in participants for the future path. This is also to promote the dedication of college staff behind the curtain of success and emphasize their exceptional performance as coaches preparing the students with the skills for 21st century.
In this competition, Mr. Pannathorn Visvathon, a student from Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management Program, was supported with practicing assistance from Ms. Pinyaphat Ngamkit, an alumni, under the coaching by Ajarn Duangkamol Sukmongkol and Ajarn Wiphol Chotiwanchusakul, the lecturers from Hotel Management Program.
