Dusit Thani College’s International Program students participated in an exclusive Table Manner Workshop and Hotel Inspection at the newly reimagined Dusit Thani Bangkok, reinforcing the college’s commitment to providing world-class hospitality education through hands-on learning experiences.
The educational journey began with an insightful orientation led by Khun Suree Pongprasartsuk, Learning & Development Manager, who provided students with comprehensive insights into the hotel’s rich heritage, operational excellence, and innovative approach to luxury hospitality. Students gained valuable knowledge about room division operations, food and beverage services, and wellness offerings that define the Dusit Thani experience.
During the exclusive hotel inspection, students explored the property’s architectural magnificence, including its iconic features such as the distinctive spire and the two circular columns adorned with Thai-inspired mural paintings. The tour also showcased the hotel’s unique artistic elements, including intricate copper wire micro sculptures that reflect Thai cultural heritage.
A special highlight of the day included a professional flower arrangement demonstration, where students observed the creation of the hotel’s signature lobby centerpieces. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, students received special floral boutique arrangements, adding a personal touch to their learning experience.
The workshop culminated in a formal dining etiquette session conducted by Khun Chawanvit Suwanasri, Assistant F&B Director and a distinguished Dusit Thani College alumnus. His presentation offered students valuable insights into high-end restaurant service protocols and professional hospitality standards, demonstrating the successful career pathways available to DTC graduates.
