The Mahogany Pin Badge Ceremony is an annual event held for new students at Dusit Thani College. This year marks the 29th Mahogany Class and the ceremony was held under the theme “Divine Celestial Abode of Dusit”.
On Friday, December 6, 2024, Dusit Thani College held the “Divine Celestial Abode of Dusit” Mahogany Pin Badge Ceremony It is a long-standing tradition of Dusit Thani College, passed down through generations. The event aims to instill pride in new students for being part of the college, while fostering bonds among the new students and between them and their senior peers through collaborative activities.
The Dusit Heaven, the fourth level of heaven, is a blissful and serene realm where celestial beings reside. This heavenly domain is free from sorrow and turmoil, filled only with joy and perpetual contentment. Dusit Heaven features three types of celestial palaces: Rattanaviman (Crystal Palaces), Kanokviman (Golden Palaces), Chataviman (Silver Palaces). Each palace is exquisitely beautiful and intricately designed beyond description, surrounded by radiant crystal walls that add to their splendor.
In addition to the pinning ceremony, the event features performances and activities prepared by senior students from various clubs. These performances, carefully rehearsed, aim to leave a lasting impression and celebrate the beginning of the new students’ journey at the college. This event was just like a living on the “Divine Celestial Abode of Dusit”.
