Dusit Thani College joins THACCA SPLASH - Soft Power Forum 2024 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center to reinforce the development of Thai cuisine as a Soft Power to an international level.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Thailand and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs of South Korea arranged a culinary competition which is the 2024 Hansik Cooking Contest in Thailand.

Dusit Thani College Pattaya Campus sent 2 students to challenge in the Mixology category of Pattaya Mixology & Flair Open’24 (Pattaya Qualifying Round) - Ms. Sakaochai Wongsuwan and Mr. Pongphat Kanongul. The results showed that both students in their third year from Hotel Management Program got excellent scores in total from every round, bringing them to the final competition.

Department of Tourism has recently collaborated with Dusit Thani College in organizing trainings for tourism professional assessment centers following ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professionals (ASEAN MRA on TP) at Srinakarin Hall, Dusit Thani College Bangkok.

Students of Dusit Thani College joined culinary, bakery, and fruit and vegetable carving competition programs in Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge 2024 and received awards from every program, totaling 38 awards.

During 27-31 May 2024, Dusit Thani College had hosted ALLiance Board of Directors Meeting 2024 at Dusit Thani Hua Hin and Dusit Thani College.

The largest hospitality event in Southeast Asia THAIFEX - HOREC Asia 2024 has recently been held at Impact Muang Thong Thani with 359 exhibiting companies from around the world and over 15,000 participants from 68 countries. The event incorporated hospitality innovation showcases, workshops, competitions, talks, and more. One of the interesting sessions was the Lightning Talks "What Do Modern Restaurants Really Need?", sharing expert opinions on the challenges of the current dining landscape and the critical elements of success for a modern-day restaurant.

The first of June each year is a day of pride for Dusit Thani College members as it represents the college’s establishment day. In this year, it has come to the 31st anniversary while the celebration was held on May 30, 2024.

The team from Dusit Thani College has achieved an incredible milestone by being the first runner-up in the prestigious Accor Take Off Challenge 2024. Competing against over 80 universities from around the world, the DTC team has showcased outstanding innovation, collaboration, and dedication. 

Dusit Thani College and Dusit International’s ASAI Chinatown hosted the semi-finals round for Asia and Africa of Sustainable Hospitality Challenge 2024 (SHC). The winning product, “Thara”, the organic water purifying system, is the groundbreaking idea of three Dusit Thani College students from the Professional Culinary Arts International Program, Mr. Supakorn Zhang, Mr. Shaun Ajay Mathew, and Ms. Jirada Kluaymaingarm.
