On July 30 and August 3, 2024, the Student Affairs Office at Dusit Thani College Bangkok Campus organized the new student orientation and parent’s meeting for the first semester of the 2024 academic year. The purpose of the activities was to provide information about the teaching and learning system, rules and regulations, and how to adapt to college life, and live happily with others. Additionally, these activities also enhanced positive attitudes and understanding between the college, new students, and parents, which will contribute to create a strong collaboration in supporting students throughout their college life until their graduation.
343 parents and 527 new students participated in the activities. Administrators and instructors welcomed and answered parents’ questions during the final session. New students also had the opportunity to meet with their academic advisors to build familiarity, as these advisors play a crucial role in supporting and advising students in both their academic and personal lives throughout their time at the college.
Meanwhile, the Student Affairs Office at Dusit Thani College Pattaya Campus also arranged the new student orientation for the 2024 academic year on August 13, 2024. The objective of this activity is to help new students plan their learning and life journey throughout the 4-year program and graduate from the college with full potential.
