On 30 January 2025, the Department of Business Development, Dusit Thani College, welcomed a group of youth who received the UK Government’s scholarships and the instructors from The Isle of Wight College, the United Kingdom, to the college as a part of a collaborative “Education & Cultural Exchange (ECE) Thailand” program. The students were from different faculties, from culinary arts, hospitality industry, tourism to graphic design and marketing.
On this occasion, the UK students and instructors had an opportunity to exchange and learn knowledge and cultures through interesting activities such as DTC program presentation and consultation, an exchange session on learning experiences, opinions, and cultures with Dusit Thani College students, and the college tour to witness the real learning atmosphere at DTC’s practical rooms. After the session, the guests were demonstrated Thai cuisine techniques and menus by Ajarn Cheewin Kachendecha and Ajarn Sirorat Kachendecha before the conclusion with luncheon at D Corner.
This event does not only open opportunities for both students of Dusit Thani College and The Isle of Wight College, the United Kingdom, to exchange knowledge and experiences, but also bridges Dusit Thani College to another step of internationalization.
