On October 13–14, 2025, the Business Administration program in Hospitality Management and Professional Culinary Arts (International Program) at Dusit Thani College organized the “Gracious Hospitality Fieldtrip” for first-year students of Semester 1, Academic Year 2025 at Dusit Thani Hua Hin to offer students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in real-world hospitality environments and a change of scenery from the classroom.
Over the course of two days, students participated in interactive workshops, team-building exercises, and showcase activities designed to enhance their technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The program emphasized graciousness, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity, the 4 Graciousness pillars, while encouraging students to collaborate across disciplines and backgrounds.
The atmosphere throughout the trip was energetic and inspiring. Students expressed their enjoyment and appreciation for the hands-on learning, the chance to bond with peers, and the welcoming hospitality of the venue. Many shared that the experience helped them grow both personally and professionally, and they look forward to future fieldtrips that continue to blend learning with fun and meaningful engagement.
This activity reflects Dusit Thani College’s commitment to developing students into high-quality professionals for the global hospitality industry.
