In this regional round of 30th WorldSkills Thailand Competition held during 9-12 July 2024, Dusit Thani College has won 7 medals by 8 student competitors.

It seeks for the regional winners to compete in the national level before representing Thailand in this year’s final round in the Philippines. Powered by Department of skill Development, Ministry of Labour, this competition used many provinces in Thailand as stages of competitions such as Bangkok, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Sawan, and so on.

Ajarn Aucharaporn Amornsittinon, one of the trainers, expressed her feeling on behalf of other instructors that “I feel grateful that 7 students were able to gain medals. However, it is not beyond our expectations since each student had dedicated all their power and spirit to practical preparations. However, every competition has only 2 results, which are to win and to lose, while the reward we could gain for sure is experience. Therefore, no matter what the result is, there is no place for disappointment, but for learning and hands-on knowledge instead.”
These successes were derived not only from the industriousness of all students but also from the instructors’ supervision and training. Moreover, there were 5 instructors from Dusit Thani College being invited to be judges in different categories, highlighting the college’s mastery, competencies, and recognition in the fields of culinary arts, food and beverages, and hotel management.
