In alignment with Dusit Thani College’s (DTC) commitment to shaping the next generation of hospitality leaders, the Inspiring Hospitality Leadership (IHL) program is designed to provide students with a series of interactive leadership activities and workshops. These sessions help them build essential soft skills for their studies at DTC and prepare them for future careers in the hospitality industry.
This four-day IHL1 program, themed “Leading the Self”, was held at Dusit Thani College from January 5-8, 2026. The program was created for first-year international students with the following objectives:
- Motivate incoming DTC students by leveraging the IHL Week initiative.
- Facilitate students’ attainment of specific learning outcomes in every session.
- Create a positive first impression and ensure the delivery of essential information.
The IHL1 program covers various dimensions such as leadership, learning styles, active listening and feedback, teamship and team dynamics, emotional intelligence, personal resilience and mindfulness. These are all essential qualities for future-ready leaders and 21st-century global citizens.
