Dusit Thani College, one of Asia’s leading private hospitality colleges, accredited nationally and internationally, acknowledges the importance of all aspects of holistic education and consequently developed the “DTC Giving Project” a Dusit Thani College CSR activity. CSR or Corporate Social Responsibility is a business operation under the principles of ethics and good management that shows an organization’s responsibility to society and the environment both inside and outside the college to lead to the ultimate goal which is a sustainable development and to cultivate ethical principles for our students.
One of the recent activities under the “DTC Giving Project” is that Dusit Thani College has collaborated with Ms. Pojjana Paniangvait, Assistant Vice President of Thai President Foods Public Company Limited on “Blind Sit Down Dinner” a charity night that involved a fusion meal combining Western and Thai food that was designed and cooked by the college’s student chefs and served in the Mahogany Dining Room at Dusit Thani College. The purpose of this event was to raise funds to support the Goggles for Muggles Project as their main aim is to spread eye health awareness and provide glasses to underprivileged Thai children.
The “Blind Sit Down Dinner” to support underprivileged Thai children is one of “DTC Giving Project” as Dusit Thani College also works and supports others such as running the Business Advisory Center for the communities, Academic Services project for needy schools and organizations.
